MOWING
Every lawn mowing includes a complete mowing of the property, weed wacking around all trees, edging, posts, stone walls and steps. We remove all freshly cut grass from all walkways, driveways and undesirable areas with a power blower.
ECOLAWN TOP DRESS APPLICATION
Top dressing with compost significantly increases soil’s water retention, improves the overall soil structure, stimulations microbial activity, breaks down thatch and neutralizes the soil’s pH level
LAWN FERTILIZATION
Liquid fertilizer available. Easily add additional supplements or herbicides for weed control. Each application is tailored to your specific soil and lawn needs.
CORE PLUG AERATION
Your first step towards eliminating turf compaction, improving infiltration of water and nutrients, as well as encouraging deeper roots. Core aeration removes “plugs” from the lawn which helps with the microbial decomposition of the undisturbed thatch. It then allows the oxygen, sunlight, water, and fertilizer to penetrate the turf and reach the root system to encourage the deeper roots.
ORNAMENTAL WEED BED CONTROL
Weeds can be kept under control using several methods. Hand weeding, pre-emergent herbicide treatments and post-emergent herbicide treatments. We will help you choose the most appropriate based on the conditions and needs. Non-chemical options also available.
MULCHING
Adding fresh mulch adds so much to an appearance. On top of that, it helps to keep the moisture in the ground, all while organically decomposing over time. Mulch will also help prevent and slow the germination of weeds.
OVERSEEDING
Keep your lawn young and vigor by over-seeding. As grass matures, it thins. A thin lawn allows weeds to establish and spread through the lawn, whereas a thick lawn inhibits weeds.
DETHATCHING
Dethatching is the process of removing thatch build up from the base of your lawn. The thick layer of thatch is a buildup of dead, un-decomposed grass stems and roots that is trapped above the soil base causing it to form a barrier that deprives the root system of water, air and nutrients. It can harbor insect infestations, increasing risk of lawn diseases.We attach a tine rake on the front of our lawn mower and the dethatcher tines pick and pull-out thatch. The mower vacuums up the debris into its bagger system.
